Blue Jeans was formed in 1987 by Wong Leung Sing,So Tak Wah,and Anthony Wong,a Hong Kong pop music band active in the late 1980s. The band members were all experienced musicians,but they were best known for their curly long hair and avant-garde style. Their music was partly self-composed,and partly adapted from foreign songs with Cantonese lyrics. The band disbanded in 1990 and later reformed in 2004,with new members Joe Tang and Fok Siu Keung joining.
In the late 1980s Hong Kong music scene,Blue Jeans stood out with its unique rock style and highly infectious live performances. "Forever Your Best Friend" is one of their representative works,and its vinyl record version preserves the warm tone and dynamic details of the original all-analog recording.
