Sell Leslie Cheung Stand up - records

Leslie Cheung's "Stand Up" Purple Vinyl Record: A Precious Mark of 80s Cantonese Pop Music

Released in 1986,"Stand Up" was a crucial turning point in Leslie Cheung's musical career. This album not only boldly broke new ground in its musical style, full of dynamism and vitality, but its vinyl record release also led the trend. Back then,Capital Artists broke convention by releasing not only traditional black vinyl records but also several colored vinyl versions. Among these, the purple vinyl record has become a focal point for many collectors and appraisers of Leslie Cheung's out-of-print records due to its unique visual appeal and relative scarcity.

For seasoned collectors looking for second-hand vinyl record sales in Hong Kong and Taiwan, the purple vinyl edition of "Stand Up" is not just a music carrier, but also a piece of art representing the golden era of Cantonese music in the 80s. After many years,well-preserved first-press colored vinyl records are becoming increasingly rare, which has led to Leslie Cheung vinyl record resale prices consistently rising in the second-hand audio and record market in recent years.

Comparison of Collection Value for Different Editions of "Stand Up" Vinyl Records

To help music fans and collectors better understand the value of the records you own, here is a reference for the market popularity of different editions of "Stand Up". If you own any of the following editions,we offer Top Cash Prices purchase services for second-hand vinyl records.

Four Key Factors Affecting the Resale Price of "Stand Up" Purple Vinyl

Many customers ask: "How much is my old Leslie Cheung record worth. " When conducting professional top cashd second-hand record buyback,we strictly evaluate based on the following dimensions to ensure we offer you the fairest and most market-aligned quotation:

1. Record Condition (Vinyl Condition): This is the core determinant of price. Are there noticeable scratches, warping, mold,or "frying egg" crackles on the record surface. A well-preserved purple vinyl with excellent transparency is considered top-notch,and we will purchase such items at the highest price.
2. Sleeve Condition: Is the record sleeve damaged,water-stained,creased,or faded. Are the edges complete (no splits).
3. Completeness of Inserts & Extras: "Stand Up" originally included a large,era-appropriate fold-out poster and lyric sheet. A "complete set" with all accessories intact and undamaged will fetch a much higher resale price than just the bare record.
4. First Press Markings (Matrix / Runout): Professional appraisers will examine the etchings in the runout groove to confirm if it is a true first pressing from 1986,rather than a later reissue.

Internationally Accepted Vinyl Record Grading System

To make our second-hand audio and vinyl buyback process more transparent and professional,we use internationally accepted record grading standards to evaluate your "Stand Up" purple vinyl:

We grade according to the international Goldmine standards (M/NM/VG+/VG/G),comprehensively evaluating the sleeve, record surface, completeness of accessories, and playback status to determine the buyback price. Learn more about our grading standards
