- The success of "Blessing" in 1988 propelled Sally Yeh into the ranks of top singers. However, "Face to Face" in 1989 was a major flop, and she missed out on the three major award ceremonies at the end of the year. The media and the public once used the phrase "a flash in the pan" to describe Sally Yeh.
- In 1990, Sally Yeh returned with her seventh Cantonese album, "Take Care." This album continued the warm style of "Blessing," with half of the tracks being original local compositions, propelling Sally Yeh's singing career to its second peak.
- The title track, "Take Care," is originally based on Wang Jie's "Say Goodbye," but Pan Weiyuan's lyrics elevate its artistic conception significantly. The lines "The weather is getting colder there / Snow may fall on the road ahead" are a perfect finishing touch, conveying deep concern. Sally Yeh's performance is calm and restrained. Facing a friend about to depart, the suppressed emotions are unspoken, years of affection unspoken. The climax, "Unwilling, unable, reluctant, unwilling to lose you / Hoping things will turn around / Holding hands, shaking hands, waving goodbye / Even if we're in different places, I'll wait for you for a lifetime," builds layer upon layer of emotion, delivering a powerful emotional impact to the listener.
- "Burning Heart with Fire" is the theme song of the movie "Qin Terracotta Warriors," composed by Joseph Koo and James Wong. Accompanied by the poignant and moving scenes from the film, Sally Yeh's vocals are both powerful and tender. With the film's popularity, "Burning Heart with Fire" quickly became a hit, and was selected as one of the Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs and Top Ten Jade Solid Gold Songs.
- "Promise" is adapted from Tong Ange's classic work "Actually You Don't Understand My Heart." Unlike Tong Ange's version, which is bold and sorrowful, Sally Yeh's rendition is simple and gentle. "Promise" appeared as the theme song in the movie "Blessing," starring Thai Han, Carol Cheng, and Gloria Yip. The film's director, Yonfan, also served as the cinematographer for the album cover of Sally Yeh's first Cantonese album, and the signature "Sally Yeh" on the cover was his work. It was through his introduction that Sally Yeh, who had just started developing her career in Hong Kong, had the opportunity to sing "Reunion" with George Lam.
- "Return to Nature" naturally reveals a compassionate sentiment and concern for humanity through its warm vocals; "One Pair, One Couple" is calm and soothing to a restless heart; "I Walk My Path" is full of determination and courage; and "On the Verge" has an exciting beat that sweeps away the previous heaviness and creates a passionate night full of energy.
- "He" is an undisputed heavyweight musical work by Sally Yeh, whether in terms of musical range, breath control, or explosive power. Her singing is full of tension and is unrestrained and grand.
- The album "Take Care" stole the show at the three major award ceremonies of the year. It not only won the "Ultimate Song Chart 1FPI Award" at the Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation, but also earned Sally Yeh her first "Most Popular Female Singer Award" at the Jade Solid Gold Best Ten Music Awards Presentation, thus beginning her glorious era of four consecutive wins.
- In February 1991, Sally Yeh held the "Spring Breeze Concert" at the Hong Kong Coliseum, performing ten shows in a row. This was her second solo concert after the "Long Night Blessing Concert" in July 1989.
- Sally Yeh's voice is a perfect blend of strength and gentleness, restrained yet powerful. She sings with overflowing emotion, effortlessly handling both grand, epic melodies and tender ballads. Many familiar classic songs have been transformed by her arrangements, imbued with a distinct personal touch. Her bright and unrestrained voice reveals her unique confidence and free spirit.
- On January 7, 2011, the 33rd Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs Awards Ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Science Park, where Sally Yeh was awarded the "Golden Needle Award".
