Friendly Reminder: Daily Storage Methods for Vinyl Records
If you still plan to keep your vinyl collection,or have other valuable vinyl records,it is recommended to pay attention to the following points to maintain their potential used vinyl record resale value in the future:
- Store upright: Absolutely avoid stacking horizontally to prevent the bottom records from being pressed and warped (like stir-fried squid).
- Moisture and heat protection: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. In humid climates,it is recommended to use a moisture-proof box or desiccant to prevent mold on the sleeves.
- Regular cleaning and maintenance: Use a professional carbon fiber brush before and after playback to remove surface dust, preventing dust accumulation from wearing down the grooves and maintaining optimal sound quality.
