Alan Tam "Fairy Tales & Dreams": A Precious Mark of 90 s Cantopop
"Fairy Tales & Dreams" is a classic Cantonese album released in 1991 by Hong Kong music's "Principal" Alan Tam. This album holds immense historical and collectible value from his time with Poly Gram, not only due to its top-tier recording and production quality, but also because it features several timeless golden hits that are still widely sung today. Among them, the golden hit "My Deepest Love" and "Do You Still Love Me Tomorrow," a duet with Shirley Kwan, are representative works in the history of Hong Kong pop music.
In the early 1990 s,music media was transitioning from vinyl records to CDs and cassette tapes, leading to a significant decrease in vinyl record releases. For this reason, the first pressing of Alan Tam's "Fairy Tales & Dreams" vinyl has maintained extremely high popularity and demand in the current Hong Kong second-hand vinyl record market. For audiophiles dedicated to collecting out-of-print Cantonese vinyl records, this album is an absolute rare gem for audio testing and physical collection.
