Dreaming Together - Album Introduction
What's rare is that Anita Mui,like Madonna, could combine feminism and sex appeal. In this album, she could also return to the old Shanghai songs of the 1930s,with a temperament no less than that of the time and people. In the slow rhythm of the lead song "Dreaming Together",when Ah Mui's alto voice rang out,it really gave the illusion of returning to the bustling Bund.
As a classic released by Capital Artists in 1988,"Dreaming Together" is an important work in Anita Mui's music career, and also a precious cultural heritage of the Hong Kong pop music scene in the 80s. The vinyl version of this album, with its unique analog sound and exquisite cover design, holds great collection and heritage value in today's Hong Kong second-hand vinyl record market. Many experienced music fans and audiophiles are still keen to find well-preserved Capital Artists first-press vinyl records.
