Album Version and Collector's Specifications Reference Table
| Version Type | Release Year | Record Label | Collector's Focus & Identification Features |
| 12-inch Vinyl LP | 1988 | DMI | First editions usually come with exquisite lyric booklets and full vinyl mastering, making them highly sought after by seasoned vinyl collectors. |
| First Edition CD (West German/Japanese pressing) | 1988 | DMI | Early DMI records were often pressed in West Germany or Japan, offering delicate sound quality. The "silver ring" on the disc surface is an important indicator of collector's value. |
| Original Cassette Tape | 1988 | DMI | Classic clear or white casing, holding high nostalgic value for cassette collectors who yearn for the 80s. |
| Later Reissues | Later years | DMI / Warner | While offering good sound quality, their resale value in the secondary market is typically lower than the original 1988 first editions. |
Why does "My Everything" have extremely high secondary market value.
- Peak DMI Recording: Danny's musical style matured during his time with DMI Records, blending melancholy and elegance. "My Everything" features excellent song selection, with each track produced from high-quality master tapes, making it ideal for testing high-end Hi-Fi audio systems.
- Rarity of Out-of-Print Items: Over time, first edition records of "My Everything" that are well-preserved,scratch-free,and complete with lyric booklets are becoming increasingly rare in the market.
- Emotional Resonance: This album represents a significant masterpiece in Danny Chan's career. For nostalgic music lovers,it's not just a record, but an irreplaceable piece of cultural memory.
