Professional Vinyl Record Appraisal Standards
When we conduct high-value vinyl record buyback s,we meticulously inspect the physical condition of the records. Understanding the following standards will help you get a fairer quote:
- Cover Condition: Check for signs of moisture, fading, bumped corners,or damage on the cover. If the original obi strip or inner lyric pages are intact, the purchase price will significantly increase.
- Vinyl Quality: We will examine the record surface for visible scratches (hairlines),mold spots,or warping. Records in "NM (Near Mint)" condition with no skipping issues have the highest resale value.
- Completeness of Accessories: For records from the 1980s,retaining original promotional posters, order forms,or record company giveaways are all bonus points.
