These records were primarily produced by record companies and distributed to radio DJs,media,or music critics for promotional listening,thus categorizing them as "not for sale."
Because white label records are usually made using the earliest pressing molds in their best condition (colloquially known as "the first pressing of the first pressing"),their groove tracks are the clearest,and their sound dynamics and detail reproduction are often closest to the master tapes. Furthermore,the number of such pressings was extremely limited,and their market circulation was very low. Therefore,these out-of-print 80s Cantonese vinyl records command a very high premium and collection value in today's second-hand vinyl record market.
