Ready Album
"Ready"is the fifth Cantonese studio album by Hong Kong singer Sandy Lam,and her last album with CBS/Sony,released on June 8,1988.
In this album,Sandy Lam underwent significant transformations in both image and music, moving towards a more mature and sophisticated style, incorporating more jazz and R&B-infused tracks such as "Drip Sweat," "Best Actor," and "Rainy Day."
To determine the second-hand buyback price of Sandy Lam's "Ready" vinyl record, the primary condition is to confirm the release version. As a landmark work during her CBS/Sony era,the first pressing vinyl released back then and later reissues have significant differences in their second-hand market value.
Four Key Factors Affecting the buyback Price of Sandy Lam's "Ready" Vinyl Record
In addition to version differences, when providing Top Cash Prices valuations,we also comprehensively assess the following details. Understanding these standards will help you grasp the true value of your old records:
- Record Condition and Playback State (Condition): Whether there are obvious scratches on the vinyl surface,if it skips during playback,or if there is intensive "crackling" sound, directly determines the final offer for second-hand vinyl record purchases. Old records in NM (near mint) to VG+ (very good plus) condition fetch the best buyback prices.
- Completeness of Accessories and Inserts (Completeness): The soul of 80s Cantonese vinyl is not just in the music. If original lyric sheets, posters,or promotional obi strips (if any) are complete, the appraisal value of this out-of-print CBS/Sony vinyl will significantly increase. Missing items will affect the overall valuation.
- Jacket Condition (Jacket Condition): Whether the jacket edges are split or damaged,or if there are water stains, mold,or ballpoint pen scribbles on the surface. Well-preserved,undamaged original jackets provide strong support for top cash prices.
- Audiophile Market Supply and Demand (Market Demand): With the recent vinyl revival,"Ready," with its strong jazz and R&B influences,is highly sought after by audiophiles. Such high-fidelity 80s classic female singer vinyl albums have high market demand, quick second-hand circulation, and continuously favorable buyback prospects.
