Why has this album remained popular in the second-hand market.
1. A Sound from an Era: The early 1990 s was a transition period from vinyl to CD. The production of "Roaring Towards the Sun" was already lower than earlier works. Therefore, the circulation of well-preserved first-edition Dave Wang vinyl records in the market is much lower than the CD version, possessing natural scarcity.
2. Audiophile-Praised Sound Quality: UFO Records' master tape processing standards were extremely high at the time. On high-end Hi-Fi audio systems, the vinyl version can present the unique metallic texture and emotional tension in Dave Wang's voice,a warm auditory experience that digital formats find difficult to replicate, making it the preferred choice for audiophiles buying used records.
3. Popularity of Classic Tracks: The album's title track "Roaring Towards the Sun" and songs like "Don't Let Tomorrow's Sun Leave Me" are cherished memories for countless music fans. The backing of classic songs makes this album not just a commodity but a cultural and artistic piece with appreciation potential.
