"An Unforgettable Day" Different Formats and Versions Collection Value Reference Guide
To help music lovers and friends interested in selling their cherished collections better understand the value of their records,we have compiled the following information regarding the characteristics of different versions of "An Unforgettable Day" related albums and key evaluation points. The information below will help you get a preliminary understanding of the current focus points in the second-hand record buyback market:
| Format & Version Type | Release Characteristics & Market Rarity | Collection Popularity | Professional buyback Valuation Focus (Factors Affecting Value) |
| First Pressing Vinyl Record (LP) | First batch pressed in the late 1970s,with exquisite cover and lyric sheet printing, possessing the most original analog sound quality. Low market circulation. | ★★★★★ | Are there noticeable scratches or skips on the record grooves; is the cover edge torn or moldy; does it include the original poster or obi strip (if an obi strip is present, the value significantly increases). |
| Early Japanese Pressed CD | Early 80s CDs pressed by major Japanese manufacturers like Sanyo or Denon, without IFPI codes/with "dark code" versions, offering excellent sound quality. | ★★★★★ | Is the disc surface scratch-free,light transmittance; IFPI code characteristics in the inner ring; is the lyric booklet yellowed,water-stained,or are there rusted staple holes; is the plastic case original. |
| Reissue/180g Heavyweight Vinyl | Versions recently remastered and pressed for audiophiles, offering clean sound quality, suitable for frequent daily listening. | ★★★☆☆ | Although the second-hand price is not as high as first pressings,as long as there is no severe warping (e.g.,excessive crackling noise) and the packaging is complete, there is still a stable market for buyback. |
| Original Cassette Tape | The most popular music format of its time, carrying a strong sense of nostalgia, recently gaining attention from young collectors driven by retro trends. | ★★★☆☆ | Is the tape moldy, broken,or has it been chewed by a tape player; completeness of the outer case and lyric sheet; is there severe static or distortion during playback. |
Expert Teresa Teng Used Record Preservation and Appraisal Tips
If you cherish "An Unforgettable Day" or other classic Teresa Teng records at home, proper preservation methods can significantly extend their lifespan and maintain high resale value. Taiwan and Hong Kong have humid climates,so it is recommended to store vinyl records upright in a well-ventilated and dry place, avoiding heavy pressure that could cause warping, and regularly cleaning dust with a professional record cleaner or anti-static brush. Early CDs should be kept away from direct sunlight to prevent oxidation of the reading layer.

Whether you wish to organize musical assets left by elders in your family or hope to transfer idle audiophile equipment and out-of-print records to another appreciative connoisseur,we offer transparent, professional, and Top Cash Prices appraisal services to ensure the value of these classic voices continues.
Lyrics
That night the stars twinkled
You appeared before me
Your dashing figure
Made my heart flutter
We shared a room
Talking about our innermost thoughts
I never imagined this night
Would bring me so many memories
An unforgettable day
An unforgettable day
Forever etched in my heart
Forever etched
When we said goodbye,you said
You were going far away
I saw you off by the roadside
Watching your silhouette gradually disappear
An unforgettable day
An unforgettable day
Forever etched in my heart
Forever etched
An unforgettable day
An unforgettable day
Forever etched in my heart
Forever etched
