Key Factors Affecting Picture Disc Buyback Prices

If you own this "Love Fever / I Love You" picture disc and are considering a professional platform for a top cash appraisal of George Lam's old records, the following professional appraisal standards will directly affect its actual assessed value:

• Disc Surface Condition (Visual Condition): The visual integrity is paramount for picture discs. Over the years, some early picture discs may show yellowing, bubbling,or fading at the edges or in the laminations. Records with clear artwork,no significant discoloration, and no deep physical scratches will command a significantly higher purchase price.
• Playback Sound Quality and Grooves (Audio Quality): Although picture discs, due to their manufacturing process, may inherently have slightly more surface noise than traditional vinyl records,if they can maintain good playback quality without skips and with minimal crackling, they are still highly sought after in the appraisal of limited edition picture discs. Proper daily maintenance of old vinyl records is crucial for preserving their value.
• Original Accessories and Packaging (Original Packaging): Even for picture discs primarily designed for (bare disc display),retaining the original transparent thick plastic sleeve, accompanying promotional flyers,or specific obi strips from its release will significantly elevate its overall collectibility and completeness.
