Full item description
As an iconic figure in the Hong Kong pop music scene,"Gor Gor" Leslie Cheung's musical works have always been highly sought after by fans and collectors alike. Among them,"Final Encounter," released in 1989,holds an irreplaceable historical position. This album is considered Leslie Cheung's last studio album before he announced his first retirement from the music industry, and it includes the classic song "When the Wind Rises Again," composed by him as a response to his breakthrough hit "The Wind Blows On." For collectors specializing in high-value buyback of classic Cantonese pop music and second-hand vinyl and old CD buyback, the condition and pressing version of the first edition of this album directly determine its market rarity and potential for appreciation.

🔍 Key Factors Affecting the Resale Value of "Final Encounter" Second-Hand CDs
When evaluating Leslie Cheung's 1989 rare album or monetizing Leslie Cheung record collections, professional second-hand record appraisers typically strictly consider the following key points. If you are considering organizing or selling your old records, these details will be important indicators in determining the final purchase price:
| Evaluation Standard | Condition Description and Market Impact | Collectible Level Impact |
| Disc Condition | Disc surface free of scratches,no light penetration,no water ripples. Especially for early "silver ring" versions,if well-preserved without oxidation or silver flaking, the second-hand record buyback price will significantly increase. | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
| Completeness of Artwork & Accessories | Lyric booklet, back cover paper free of damage, yellowing, water stains,or creases. If posters or promotional booklets originally included with the disc are also preserved, they are more favored by seasoned audiophiles. | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
| Case Condition & Originality | Original glossy or thick frosted case free of cracks. Although CD cases can be replaced, preserving the original vintage feel highlights the overall collectible value of second-hand audio and Hi-Fi enthusiast records. | ⭐⭐⭐ |
| Rarity of Special Editions | In addition to common commercial standard editions, promo CDs (white label) or factory-sealed new condition items are extremely rare in the old record high-value cash buyback market and command significant value. | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
Whether you possess a treasured first edition of "Final Encounter" CD from that era,or other classic vinyl records and cassette tapes from the 80s,properly preserving these physical music carriers, which bear witness to the golden age of Hong Kong music,is in itself a tribute to classic music, and their true market value is steadily rising with time.
